LvivLviv is situated in western Ukraine, on the Podolian Upland, on the Poltva river. Is has 830 thousand inhabitants. The city’s location on the border of two water basins, Baltic and the Black Sea, caused many trade routes to intersect in this region in the past, which spurred the development of the city. For the longest part of its history, Lviv belonged to Poland, which is why many traces of Polish culture can be found here. At the beginning of the 20th century, the local Polish community played an important role in the rebuilding of Poland. | Centrum Informacji Turystycznej we Wrocławiu
