Dresden is situated in the south-eastern part of Saxony, on the River Elbe, it is the fourth largest city in Germany It has over 515 thousand inhabitants. It is worth to visit the city to see, among other monuments, the church of Our Lady, opera house designed by Gotfried Semper, and, first of all, a baroque Zwinger palace, currently a museum, which houses the Old Masters Picture Gallery, Collection of Porcelain, or the Mathematical-Physical Salon.
